July 2008 Cheyenne, one of my former adoptive horses went to the Stoughton Fair. Then on July 13 she went to the Lodi Fair. The first picture is of her ribbon after the Stoughton Fair. The 2nd picture is when she went to Lodi and her rider was Ms. Emily Volp. Look at how white she is! She did awesome! See her picture- she received some ribbons. She is so laid back! Perfect horse for my great friend Michele. One the best horses I ever got from an auction. She will continue to show Cheyenne and she will do well. See? Good horses can be bought from auctions! Isnt she beautiful? She is a 5 year old paint mare. We rescued her in 2005.
Above is my good friend Jodi Pursley of Pursley Valley Stables. She and her daughter have helped with a few of my rescue horses. They were also at the Lodi competition and Jodi won Grand Champion with her horse Ginger. They called the class 'Senior'. Wow, senior in your 30's. Oh well, that must make me ancient! Ginger has been to many competitions and is a pro and has many ribbons and points. Jodi has also rescued some horses and has one of her own and used her for a lesson horse for years. Now Callie is retired and living a good life of food, shelter, sun and fun!
